Does Dib and Gaz being clones count as a headcanon?
Speaking of clone theory, the way I think it happened is Membrane made Dib first, as someone who could be his predecessor, but when Dib started to show signs of not being like him at all he decided cloning his parents would get a better result, but that resulted in Gaz, hence why she resembles her grandparents while Dib almost looks exactly like Membrane
Gaz needs glasses but doesn’t wear them
Irkens used to reproduce naturally before it was deemed unnecessary and primal and the control brains wiped out all those feelings. Defective Irkens can still show remnants as well as other “unnecessary” emotions which are basically anything that doesn’t involve being loyal to the Tallest or the job they were assigned
adventure time lore is insane. it starts off just being a goofy kids show that has magic for no reason, but then you learn that all magic users are manic and/or depressed (what betty calls sadness and madness). because it turns out magic is actually a cosmic force beyond mortal comprehension, that itself was learned from cosmic entities that predated the existence of time itself inside a sea of monsters. and “magic” really is just understanding more about the nature of the universe than most people. that, in a way, reality isnt “real” and understanding that allows you to mold it. and thats magic. but that drives you to insanity and/or apathy. and there are beings who hold significant cosmic importance who are more prone to magic. and the reason magic became prevalent on earth is because of a nuclear war a thousand years ago, which released the entity that represents the destruction of all life onto the world. and after a nuclear apocalypse this gave way to a new earth, where magic could thrive. but a lot of the beings we see arent even magical, theyre just mutants from what happened 1000 years ago. and humanity as we know it has been all but wiped out. but everything stays the same because cycles of war and violence continue. and it doesnt matter if its nukes or magic. everything stays the same, but still changes.
I know I said she was a test tube baby but I’ve decided that Zim and Dib would not purposefully have kids so I like the idea of her accidentally coming from an egg. Plus Zim and Dib learning new weird things about how Irkens work that even Zim doesn’t know is peak

Her personality is like, a more chaotic child version of Peridot from SU with a little bit of Louise Belcher
Every earth thing that negatively affects Zim (water, meat, etc) also affects her but to a lesser extent, because of her mixed. human/irken dna Water slightly tingles and all meat is spicy. She probably shouldn’t eat meat or drink water but she occasionally does anyway (and her human side needs water) and finding stuff she can eat with no problems at all is a challenge
Has Irken and Vampire Bee traits: menace to society. Little fleshy irken fangs
Gaz looks after her sometimes. She doesn’t like it, but she feels like she needs to prevent her from becoming too much like Zim or Dib. She does take after Gaz quite a bit
Zim calls her “Zin” as a nickname because it sounds like Zim
that ship is toxic to YOU. to me it’s a complex, multi-layered, essay-worthy dynamic that’d take numerous hours to dissect (during which i’ll spend crying screaming tearing my hair out)
“intrusive thought” gets thrown around by assholes talking about putting strainers on their heads or stepping on a leaf who in the next sentence will say “if your thoughts are about actually hurting people they should put you in a psych ward”. compulsions and rituals get seen as proof you’re “crazy”. ocd insight CAN be delusional, even. pocd and sexual ocd is especially demonized, though even something as “harmless” (to others. not *us*) as contamination OCD is still mocked, belittled, and seen as a sign something is fundamentally wrong with you. I have seen people twice my age advocate for violence against anyone who thinks the way I’ve been forced by my mental illness to think since i was 6, maybe 7 years old.
